Vietnamese QA Lead for AI Training & Localization
Overview
This remote hourly contractor role leads Vietnamese AI training quality across projects, guiding trainers and QA specialists. You will monitor output for tone, diacritics, accuracy, and cultural context, delivering precise feedback through direct messages. Create and maintain Vietnamese project documents, including style guides and onboarding materials, to keep contributors aligned with rubrics. Coordinate with remote contributors on Discord, Google Docs, and Google Sheets to ensure consistent output and timely updates. Your work helps improve AI models by ensuring Vietnamese content is natural and aligned with client guidelines.
What You'll Do8
- 1Spot-check Vietnamese AI training items to identify quality issues and provide ongoing feedback via direct messages.
- 2Keep trainers and QAs updated on Discord about new item guidelines, project changes, workflow updates, and quality expectations.
- 3Respond promptly to questions about Vietnamese wording, tone, diacritics, regional usage, and translation fidelity.
- 4Manage activation of contributors by direct messaging inactive workers, tracking follow-ups, and flagging availability issues.
- 5Create and maintain Vietnamese project documentation, including style guides, quality notes, examples, onboarding materials, and honeypots.
- 6Lead onboarding and training calls with trainers and QAs to explain expectations, rubrics, and Vietnamese-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Vietnamese language guidelines across projects as guidelines evolve.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA workflows for Vietnamese-language projects.
Requirements11
- 1bachelor’s or master’s degree in Vietnamese, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, english, education, quality assurance, or related field
- 2native or near-native Vietnamese with strong reading and writing skills
- 3strong english proficiency to follow guidelines and provide feedback in english
- 43+ years of professional experience in Vietnamese writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, ai training, annotation, or related language-review workflows
- 5deep understanding of Vietnamese grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone markers, diacritics, register, and cultural context
- 6comfort handling northern, central, and southern dialect differences while maintaining project-wide style
- 7ability to evaluate Vietnamese content against rubrics and identify mistranslation, unnatural tone, diacritics errors, hallucinations, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology
- 8experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or qas is strongly preferred
- 9experience working in fast-moving remote environments using discord, google sheets, google docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems
- 10highly detail-oriented and organized; able to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, honeypots, and other quality documentation
- 11experience with ai training, data annotation, large language models, prompt/response evaluation, or rubric-based llm qa is a strong plus
