How does AI job matching work?
Our AI reads your resume and identifies your skills, experience level, and areas of expertise. It then searches every active job on the platform, ranks them by how closely they fit your profile, and shows you the strongest matches first. The whole thing finishes in under 20 seconds.
What file types are accepted?
PDF, DOC, and DOCX files up to 3 MB. We check what is actually inside the file before accepting it. Renamed executables, scripts, and random documents are rejected immediately.
Is my resume data secure?
Yes. Your resume is processed in a secure sandbox environment and stored encrypted. Your name, email, and contact details never leave our servers. Only the anonymous skills profile is used for matching.
How long does it take to get results?
Most resumes come back with matches in under 20 seconds. The same resume uploaded twice returns results instantly the second time.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Upload, see your matches, and apply through NearSkill, where your application is screened before it reaches the employer. We never gate results behind a sign up wall.
How are match percentages calculated?
We compare everything in your resume against what each role asks for: your skills, your years of experience, the industries you have worked in. The fit score is how much overlap there is, turned into a simple percentage. Above 70% is a strong match. Above 50% is worth a look.
