Slovenian Language Expert for AI Content QA Remote
Overview
As a remote hourly contractor, you will serve as a SME for Slovenian language to review AI-generated Slovenian content and produce high-quality reference material. You will evaluate language quality, grammar and spelling, tone, and cultural alignment, providing precise written feedback in English. You will craft gold-standard prompts and model answers for domains such as general knowledge, customer support, education, and localization. You will rate AI outputs for fluency, accuracy, meaning preservation, and terminology, and flag unsafe or misleading content.
What You'll Do7
- 1Develop AI training content by crafting prompts and gold-standard Slovenian answers across domains like general knowledge, customer support, education, conversation, translation, localization, and culturally sensitive content.
- 2Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve fluency, correctness, tone match, register consistency, meaning preservation, terminology quality, and cultural appropriateness.
- 3Detect unsafe or misleading content, factual hallucinations, bias, mistranslations, ambiguity, policy-risk language, and culturally inappropriate phrasing; validate reliability across use cases.
- 4Write high-quality rewrites and model answers that demonstrate best practices in Slovenian writing, including step-by-step reasoning when needed.
- 5Provide precise written feedback in English, outlining strengths and specific fixes for each sample.
- 6Perform translation quality review, editorial QA, and localization QA against rubrics and guidelines.
- 7Rate multiple AI responses and provide comparative assessments to guide model improvements.
Requirements9
- 1bachelor’s degree or higher in linguistics, Slovenian language, Slovenian literature, English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2native or near-native Slovenian proficiency with strong reading and writing skills
- 3strong professional proficiency in English, minimum C1, to follow guidelines and provide detailed feedback in English
- 43+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work
- 5deep understanding of Slovenian grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, diacritics, cases, declension, conjugation, dual number, word order, tone, and style; able to explain why something is wrong and how to fix it
- 6comfortable handling multiple registers including formal, neutral, conversational, professional, educational, and public-facing Slovenian
- 7high attention to detail when spotting subtle meaning shifts, awkward translations, incorrect endings, agreement errors, and culturally mismatched wording
- 8reliable, self-directed, able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones
- 9prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, localization QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred
Who Should Apply

Salary Insight
