What You'll Do10
- 1Spot-check philosophy items for quality, identify issues, and deliver targeted feedback to trainers via direct messages, focusing on philosophy quality and clear feedback.
- 2Assess AI-generated philosophy explanations, argument structures, and ethical reasoning for alignment with project rubrics.
- 3Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new guidelines, workflow changes, and philosophy-specific review standards.
- 4Answer trainer/QA questions clearly on topics like argument validity, traditions, and rubric interpretation.
- 5DM inactive contributors to re-engage them, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues.
- 6Create and maintain philosophy project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, calibration tasks, and onboarding materials.
- 7Lead onboarding calls with trainers and QAs to explain expectations, rubrics, and quality standards.
- 8Ensure consistent application of philosophy-review guidelines as projects evolve.
- 9Flag invalid, misleading, biased, or shallow philosophical content for remediation.
- 10Suggest workflow improvements to scale QA processes for philosophy AI training projects.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in philosophy, ethics, logic, political theory, humanities, religious studies, classics, cognitive science, or related field.
- 2Strong command of English to follow project guidelines, communicate with teams, and provide clear written feedback.
- 33+ years in philosophy research, teaching, writing, editing, academic review, ethics review, logic instruction, or related humanities workflows.
- 4Solid understanding of philosophical methods, logic, ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, political philosophy, history of philosophy, and conceptual clarification.
- 5Ability to evaluate philosophy content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as strawman arguments, invalid inferences, conceptual confusion, oversimplification, or misrepresentation.
- 6Familiarity with formal logic, moral philosophy, applied ethics, analytic philosophy, continental philosophy, ancient philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of science, or AI ethics is preferred.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of researchers, writers, reviewers, educators, annotators, or QAs.
- 8Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, and Google Docs plus trackers and dashboards.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, calibration tasks, and documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM evaluation, academic QA, ethics review, or rubric-based review is a strong plus.
