What You'll Do8
- 1Spot-check Odia content for quality, identify issues, and provide targeted feedback via DMs.
- 2Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new guidelines, project changes, and quality expectations.
- 3Answer trainer and QA questions clearly, clarifying Odia wording, tone, and cultural context.
- 4Manage contributor activation by DMing inactive teammates, tracking follow-ups, and flagging availability when needed.
- 5Create and maintain Odia project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, and onboarding materials.
- 6Run onboarding and training sessions with trainers and QAs to explain expectations, rubrics, and Odia style requirements.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Odia language guidelines across projects and communicate updates.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA workflow improvements for Odia-language projects.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's or Master's degree in Odia, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, QA, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native Odia with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong English proficiency to follow guidelines and communicate feedback.
- 43+ years in Odia writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language workflows.
- 5Solid understanding of Odia grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, and culture.
- 6Ability to evaluate Odia content against rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, unnatural tone, or inconsistent terminology.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, QA specialists, or editors is highly preferred.
- 8Comfort with fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and PM systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, and quality documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLMs, prompt/response evaluation, or rubric-based QA is a strong plus.
