Lithuanian QA Lead for AI Training Content Review
Overview
As a remote contract Lithuanian Quality Assurance Lead, you guide quality and consistency across Lithuanian AI training projects and mentor trainers and QA teammates. You review AI-generated Lithuanian content and the work of trainers and QAs, measuring output against project rubrics and delivering precise written feedback. You maintain documentation, style guides, and onboarding materials to ensure contributors stay aligned with client expectations. Collaborating with distributed teams through Discord, Google Docs, and dashboards, you track quality, activation, and project updates.
What You'll Do10
- 1Spot-check Lithuanian items for accuracy, fluency, grammar, punctuation, and tone; log issues and deliver targeted written feedback.
- 2Keep trainers and QAs informed about new item guidelines and workflow changes via Discord messages.
- 3Answer questions on Lithuanian wording, diacritics, case endings, and terminology with clear English explanations.
- 4Manage activation of inactive contributors; track follow-ups and surface availability issues.
- 5Create and maintain Lithuanian project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
- 6Lead onboarding calls with trainers and QAs to explain expectations, rubrics, and Lithuanian-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Lithuanian language guidelines as projects evolve.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA processes to support Lithuanian projects.
- 9Document quality notes, examples, and honeypots to support ongoing training for remote teams.
- 10Coordinate with cross-functional teammates to align translation and localization QA with client expectations.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's or Master's degree in Lithuanian, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native Lithuanian with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong English to follow project guidelines and provide feedback.
- 43+ years in Lithuanian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
- 5Strong understanding of Lithuanian grammar, spelling, diacritics, punctuation, declension, gender agreement, tone, register, and cultural context.
- 6Ability to evaluate Lithuanian content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, incorrect case usage, missing diacritics, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- 8Comfort working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, honeypots, and other quality documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt evaluation, or rubric-based QA is a strong plus.
