
Hebrew QA Lead for AI Training Data and Localization
Overview
In this remote, hourly contract, you serve as a Hebrew QA Lead overseeing AI training data quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Hebrew projects. You will review AI-generated Hebrew content and trainer/QA work, evaluating output against project rubrics and delivering precise written guidance. Your scope covers RTL formatting and cultural context, ensuring alignment with client expectations and maintaining language standards. As part of SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and SuperAnnotate subsidiary, you’ll maintain Hebrew documentation, onboard new contributors, and help scale QA workflows for language projects.
What You'll Do8
- 1Spot-check Hebrew items to identify quality issues and deliver ongoing feedback to trainers and QAs via direct messages, escalating critical or repeated problems.
- 2Coordinate with trainers and QAs on Discord about new guidelines, project changes, and updated quality expectations.
- 3Answer questions about Hebrew wording, tone, gendered language, RTL formatting, and terminology with clear, timely guidance.
- 4Manage activation of contributors who are inactive or underutilized, tracking follow-ups and flagging availability issues.
- 5Create and maintain Hebrew project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, and onboarding materials.
- 6Lead onboarding sessions with trainers and QAs to explain rubrics, workflows, and Hebrew-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Hebrew language guidelines across all trainers and QAs as projects evolve.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA process improvements for Hebrew-language projects.
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hebrew, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a relevant field.
- 2Native or near-native Hebrew proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong English proficiency to follow project guidelines, communicate with teams, and provide feedback.
- 43+ years of professional experience in Hebrew writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
- 5Solid understanding of Hebrew grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, cultural context, and RTL script handling.
- 6Ability to evaluate Hebrew content against rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, awkward phrasing, or inconsistent terminology.
- 7Experience with formal vs informal Hebrew, gendered language, localization terminology, and audience adaptation for Israeli users.
- 8Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- 9Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 10Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, and quality documentation.
- 11Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus.

Salary Insight
