As a remote hourly contractor, you’ll serve as a fintech and crypto subject-matter expert for SME Careers, reviewing AI-generated fintech, payments, and crypto/Web3 content. You’ll assess reasoning quality and step-by-step problem solving, delivering precise, written feedback that guides model improvements. Ground your work in blockchain concepts and regulatory awareness, flagging incorrect financial product logic and custody or key management concerns. You’ll craft model-ready explanations and solutions that illustrate solid reasoning, supporting ai training initiatives across multiple time zones.
What You'll Do7
- 1Create detailed ai training content for fintech, payments, and crypto topics, including prompts and gold-standard explanations.
- 2Assess and rate ai training outputs for correctness, clarity, safety, and practical usefulness.
- 3Benchmark model outputs and propose targeted prompts or data augmentations to improve performance.
- 4Test outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe guidance, or bias; document issues and validate across use cases.
- 5Annotate fintech content for KYC/AML, sanctions, and consumer protection alignment.
- 6Provide high-quality explanations and step-by-step solutions for complex crypto and payments scenarios.
- 7Deliver concise feedback that helps data science teams refine prompts, datasets, and evaluation metrics.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 25+ years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, crypto, or adjacent domains (product, operations, risk, compliance, research, engineering, or consulting).
- 3Strong understanding of payments and money movement: authorization/settlement, chargebacks, fees, rails (card networks, ACH, wires).
- 4Solid grasp of crypto/blockchain fundamentals: transaction lifecycle, on-chain vs off-chain, token mechanics.
- 5Solid risk mindset: fraud vectors, account takeover, social engineering, custody/key management risks.
- 6Familiarity with compliance concepts relevant to fintech/crypto (high level): KYC/AML, sanctions awareness, consumer protection.
- 7Ability to evaluate answers for internal consistency (units, timelines, fees, security assumptions).
- 8Minimum C1 English proficiency with strong written communication.
- 9Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly, remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 10Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, financial content QA, risk/compliance review, or technical writing is strongly preferred.
