As a remote Czech QA lead, you guide language quality across AI training projects and supervise trainer performance to meet client rubrics. You review AI-generated Czech content and trainer outputs against detailed guidelines, delivering precise written feedback to improve accuracy, tone, and cultural alignment. You maintain Czech-focused documentation, including style guides and onboarding materials, to support consistent outputs. What You'll Do8
- 1Quality-monitor Czech items, spot-check outputs, provide ongoing feedback via direct messages, and escalate critical issues when needed.
- 2Coordinate with trainers and QAs on Discord to communicate new item guidelines, workflow changes, and quality expectations.
- 3Answer questions about Czech wording, grammar, diacritics, tone, and cultural context with clear, actionable guidance.
- 4Activate and re-engage contributors who are inactive; track follow-ups and flag availability or workload issues.
- 5Create and maintain Czech project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, and onboarding materials.
- 6Lead onboarding and training sessions for trainers and QAs to align on rubrics, standards, and Czech-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Czech language guidelines across all contributors as projects evolve.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA process improvements for Czech-language projects.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Czech, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field
- 2Native or near-native Czech with strong reading and writing skills
- 3Strong English proficiency to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English
- 43+ years of professional Czech language work in writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related workflows
- 5Deep knowledge of Czech grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, declension, gender agreement, word order, tone, and cultural context
- 6Ability to evaluate Czech content against rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, awkward phrasing, or missing diacritics
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred
- 8Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Docs, Google Sheets, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems
- 9Highly detail-oriented with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, and quality documentation
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus
