Slovak QA Lead for AI Training Data Projects
Overview
In this remote, hourly contract, you will serve as a Slovak QA Lead guiding quality across AI training data projects. You review Slovak content generated by AI and the work of trainers and QAs, measuring output against project rubrics and style guidelines. You provide precise written feedback, maintain documentation, and help activate contributors who are not consistently productive. Strong Slovak and English fluency, plus experience coordinating remote teams, are essential.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead quality monitoring of Slovak AI training items, performing spot-checks and flagging quality issues.
- 2Share updates with trainers and QAs on Discord and via project notes, outlining new guidelines and expectations.
- 3Answer questions about Slovak wording, grammar, diacritics, and tone with clear, rubric-based guidance.
- 4Manage contributor activation, following up with inactive team members and flagging availability issues.
- 5Create and maintain Slovak project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
- 6Coordinate onboarding sessions for trainers and QAs to align on rubrics and project standards.
- 7Ensure consistency in applying Slovak language guidelines as projects evolve.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA improvements for Slovak-language projects.
- 9Review QA outputs and provide trainer feedback to ensure alignment with client expectations.
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s in Slovak, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or related field
- 2Native or near-native Slovak with strong reading and writing skills
- 3Strong English to follow project guidelines and provide feedback in English
- 43+ years in Slovak writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review workflows
- 5Deep knowledge of Slovak grammar, spelling, diacritics, declension, case endings, gender agreement, word order, tone, register, and cultural context
- 6Ability to distinguish Slovak from Czech usage in vocabulary, spelling, and localization expectations
- 7Experience evaluating Slovak content against rubrics and identifying issues like mistranslation, awkward tone, or inconsistent terminology
- 8Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs preferred
- 9Comfortable using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems in a fast-moving remote environment
- 10Detail-oriented and organized, capable of maintaining style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, and quality documentation
- 11Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM QA, or rubric-based evaluation is a strong plus

Salary Insight
