Overview
As a Croatian Quality Assurance Lead, you will oversee quality and consistency across Croatian AI training projects, guiding remote trainers and QA peers. You will review AI-generated Croatian content, evaluate accuracy and tone against project rubrics, and deliver precise written feedback to keep deliverables aligned with client guidelines. You will create and maintain Croatian project documentation, including style guides and onboarding materials, while helping re-engage contributors who drift from the workflow. What You'll Do8

- 3Answer questions on Croatian wording, diacritics, grammar, tone, and cultural context with precise guidance.
- 4Activate inactive contributors, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues to maintain steady workflow.
- 5Create and maintain Croatian project documentation, including style guides and onboarding materials.
- 6Run onboarding calls with trainers and QAs to explain project expectations, rubrics, and Croatian-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Croatian language guidelines as projects evolve.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA processes for Croatian-language projects.
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's or Master's degree in Croatian, linguistics, translation, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native Croatian with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong English proficiency to follow guidelines and communicate with teams.
- 43+ years of professional experience in Croatian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related workflows.
- 5Deep knowledge of Croatian grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, declension, gender agreement, tone, and cultural context.
- 6Ability to distinguish Croatian variants from Serbian/Bosnian/Montenegrin where relevant.
- 7Skill at evaluating Croatian content against rubrics and flagging issues such as mistranslation, tone, or missing diacritics.
- 8Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
- 9Comfort with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management tools.
- 10Detail-oriented and organized, with a track record of maintaining style guides, FAQs, onboarding materials, and documentation.
- 11Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus.
