Overview

This remote role pays you to evaluate AI's output in wholesale and technical sales instead of doing the sales work yourself. Each review runs about an hour: you get a task brief, the AI agent's step-by-step process, the files it created, and a machine-generated scoring sheet. Your expertise is the benchmark. You answer four key questions, from whether the task scenario is authentic to whether the domain details and final score hold up under scrutiny. The position suits practitioners with deep field knowledge who want to shape how AI performs in sales.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Examine a complete AI-generated sales task, including the original prompt, the agent's actions, and delivered files.
  • 2Judge whether each task scenario is realistic for a wholesale or technical sales professional or is contrived.
  • 3Verify that domain details like product specs, pricing, regulations, and constraints are accurate and consistent.
  • 4Review the AI grader's eleven yes/no responses and note where you disagree, providing concrete reasons.
  • 5Assign your own quality band to the finished work and compare it with the AI's reported score.
  • 6Write concise justifications in English for every judgment you make.

Requirements5

  • 1At least four years of experience selling technical or scientific products with hands-on involvement in sizing, specification, and quoting.
  • 2Alternatively, four years managing a B2B or distribution sales team, including quota oversight and pipeline management.
  • 3Or three years in order entry and management at a distributor or manufacturer, processing quotes, purchase orders, and backorders.
  • 4Near-native business English, since you'll write brief rationales for each assessment.
  • 5Comfort using spreadsheet or PDF tools to cross-check numbers and reconcile data.

Who Should Apply

This role fits professionals who have caught specced-out quotes with errors, reworked a rep's proposal before customer submission, or straightened out mismanaged order terms. It's a perfect match for those who enjoy dissecting sales paperwork and spotting subtle mistakes that would only bother a seasoned insider. SDR-style sellers focused solely on lead generation or account managers who only renew existing contracts will find this less relevant. Common reasons candidates fall short include lacking direct quoting or product configuration experience, or being unable to articulate discrepancies clearly in written English.

Salary Insight

$50-$55 per hour. This rate is competitive for part-time remote review work and aligns with what experienced sales consultants charge for similar domain expertise.

Manufacturing Operations Reviewer

Manufacturing professionals with real-world experience review AI outputs from their own trade, not to create them. Each task shows the AI agent's full attempt, including its original brief, the files it generated, and the scoresheet from an automated grader. Your job is to judge whether the task itself is realistic, whether the domain content is accurate down to the smallest regulation or figure, and whether the grader's eleven yes/no questions led to a defensible score. You'll spend about an hour per item, and you never redo the agent's work. This is a remote, per-hour contract for people who know the floor, the line, or the supply chain well enough to catch subtle errors an outsider would miss.
