Public Sector Practice Reviewer | $50-$55/hr Remote
Overview
A contract role for active public sector professionals who will audit AI output in their own domain. The work uses a complete AI agent attempt: the task text, the agent's actions, the files it generated, and a pre-filled grading sheet. Your role is to answer four questions about whether the task is realistic, whether domain terminology and figures are accurate, whether the grading is justified, and whether the final score is defensible. Each case takes about an hour, and you never have to redo the work.
What You'll Do6
- 1Assess whether the task assigned to the AI agent reflects a realistic scenario from a public sector role, judging it as realistic, borderline, or contrived.
- 2Check all domain-specific elements, including regulations, figures, and constraints, for accuracy and internal consistency, catching subtle mistakes that only a seasoned practitioner would notice.
- 3Review the eleven yes/no grading questions with the produced files at hand, provide disagreements with clear reasoning.
- 4Band the work yourself (usable, acceptable) and compare your judgment against the reported score to decide if the score is defensible.
- 5Write a concise justification for each assessment in near-native business English.
- 6Review a pre-populated spreadsheet or PDF to ensure numbers reconcile.
Requirements7
- 1For Compliance Officers: at least 4 years in regulatory, licensing, or program compliance, with a record of writing findings that others had to act on.
- 2For Administrative Services Managers: at least 5 years managing facilities, records, procurement, or general services for a public agency or institution.
- 3For Child, Family and School Social Workers: a valid license where required by your state and at least 4 years carrying your own caseload.
- 4For Recreation Workers: at least 4 years running programs for a parks department, community center, camp, or school district, including staffing and safety plan development.
- 5For First-Line Supervisors of Police and Detectives: at least 4 years as a sworn supervisor at sergeant rank or higher.
- 6Demonstrated near-native fluency in business English for writing concise judgment explanations.
- 7Comfortable checking numbers in spreadsheets or PDFs to verify reconciliation.
Who Should Apply
The ideal match has current or recent employment as a compliance officer, administrative services manager, child and family social worker, recreation worker, or police supervisor. You should have spent years making decisions on findings, case plans, or corrective actions that others were accountable to. This role is not for policy analysts who researched without implementing, nor for private-sector equivalents. A common rejection happens when an applicant misses the hands-on years of experience or cannot show they can spot subtle errors. Another red flag is difficulty expressing a clear rationale in written English.
Salary Insight
The rate is $50 to $55 per hour, which is competitive for contract work that requires a professional license or significant domain expertise. This rate aligns with compensation for senior-level reviewers who can quickly assess complex work.

Manufacturing professionals with real-world experience review AI outputs from their own trade, not to create them. Each task shows the AI agent's full attempt, including its original brief, the files it generated, and the scoresheet from an automated grader. Your job is to judge whether the task itself is realistic, whether the domain content is accurate down to the smallest regulation or figure, and whether the grader's eleven yes/no questions led to a defensible score. You'll spend about an hour per item, and you never redo the agent's work. This is a remote, per-hour contract for people who know the floor, the line, or the supply chain well enough to catch subtle errors an outsider would miss.

Each evaluation is designed to take about an hour, and you never redo the work yourself. Since the tasks revolve around U.S. market specifics, your command of *SEC*, *FINRA*, and state insurance rules will directly determine your success.
