Turkish QA Lead for AI Training Projects Remote
Overview
As a remote contract Turkish QA Lead, you’ll supervise quality across AI training items and oversee the performance of trainers and QA staff. You will review AI-generated Turkish content and judge its alignment with project rubrics, delivering precise written feedback. You will maintain Turkish project documentation and ensure style guides, FAQs, trackers, and onboarding materials stay current. You will also lead onboarding calls and help activate contributors who drop off the workflow.
What You'll Do8
- 1Monitor Turkish content quality across AI training items, spot issues, and escalate critical findings.
- 2Provide precise written feedback to trainers and QAs on Turkish wording, grammar, vowel harmony, suffix usage, tone, and cultural context.
- 3Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new item guidelines, project changes, workflow updates, and quality expectations.
- 4DM inactive contributors to re-engage them, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues.
- 5Create and maintain Turkish project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
- 6Schedule and run onboarding and training sessions with trainers and QAs to explain project expectations, rubrics, quality standards, and Turkish-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure Turkish language guidelines are applied consistently and that updates are understood across teams.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA process improvements for Turkish-language projects.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Turkish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 2Native or near-native Turkish with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong English to follow guidelines, communicate with teams, and provide feedback.
- 43+ years of professional experience in Turkish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
- 5Deep knowledge of Turkish grammar, spelling, punctuation, vowel harmony, agglutinative structures, tone, register, and cultural context.
- 6Ability to evaluate Turkish content against detailed rubrics and identify issues like mistranslation, unnatural tone, missing Turkish characters, or inconsistent terminology.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, editors, or QAs.
- 8Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized; capable of maintaining style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, and quality documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM QA, or rubric-based evaluation is a strong plus.
