What You'll Do7
- 1Create Telugu prompts and gold-standard answers across domains such as general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing.
- 2Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness; annotate issues and propose fixes.
- 3Write high-quality Telugu rewrites and model answers to demonstrate proper style and register.
- 4Rate and compare multiple AI responses against a rubric, documenting rationale for every decision.
- 5Detect unsafe or misleading content, factual hallucinations, bias, or policy-risk language; flag and guide remediation.
- 6Maintain and contribute to Telugu glossaries, terminology management, and style guidelines for consistency.
- 7Collaborate with data science and QA teams to feed back findings and improve prompts and evaluation criteria.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics
- 2Native or near-native Telugu proficiency (reading and writing)
- 3Strong professional English (C1) to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English
- 43+ years of writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education or related language-focused work
- 5Deep understanding of Telugu grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, and style; able to explain fixes clearly
- 6Comfort with multiple registers (formal/informal) and regional variation (Andhra Pradesh vs Telangana) and audience adaptation (India vs diaspora)
- 7High attention to detail to spot subtle meaning shifts, awkward translations, hallucinations, or culturally mismatched phrasing
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and capable of delivering consistent quality in an hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones
- 9Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred
