Requirements9
- 1bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics
- 2native or near-native kannada proficiency; reading and writing required
- 3strong professional proficiency in english (minimum c1) for guidelines and detailed feedback in english
- 43+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work
- 5deep understanding of kannada grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, and style with ability to explain fixes
- 6experience with multiple registers and regional variation; adapt to india vs diaspora audiences
- 7high attention to detail for subtle meaning shifts, potential hallucinations, and culturally awkward phrasing
- 8reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in hourly remote contractor workflows across time zones
- 9prior experience with ai data training/annotation, translation qa, editorial qa, or rubric-based evaluation preferred
