What You'll Do7
- 1Review AI-generated Tamil content and generate high-quality Tamil reference answers across multiple domains.
- 2Evaluate outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, punctuation, and cultural appropriateness, providing targeted feedback.
- 3Identify unsafe or misleading content, factual inconsistencies, and bias; document issues for remediation.
- 4Create rewrites and model answers that illustrate correct Tamil usage and tone for various registers.
- 5Rate and compare multiple model responses to guide improvements in the AI training loop.
- 6Collaborate with data science teams to align rubrics and quality criteria.
- 7Maintain clear notes and a glossary to ensure consistent terminology across projects.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
- 2Native or near-native tamil proficiency (reading and writing).
- 3Strong professional proficiency in english (minimum C1) to follow guidelines and provide detailed feedback in english.
- 43+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work.
- 5Deep understanding of tamil grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, and style; able to explain why something is wrong and how to fix it.
- 6Comfort handling multiple registers (formal/informal), tamil used in india vs sri lanka vs diaspora contexts, and audience adaptation as required.
- 7High attention to detail when spotting subtle meaning shifts, awkward literal translations, hallucinated claims, or culturally mismatched phrasing.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly, remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with ai data training/annotation, translation qa, editorial qa, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.
