What You'll Do7
- 1Evaluate AI-generated Tagalog content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural alignment.
- 2Create high-quality Tagalog reference content and model answers that illustrate best practices in Filipino writing.
- 3Assess multiple AI responses using a written rubric and rate them for correctness, tone, and appropriateness.
- 4Identify unsafe, misleading claims, factual hallucinations, or policy-risk language, and document concrete corrections.
- 5Document decisions in a clear log and contribute to glossary development and terminology management for Tagalog.
- 6Collaborate with AI trainers to align prompts, evaluation criteria, and localization goals.
- 7Provide written feedback in English, including concrete rewrites and rationale.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in linguistics, Filipino/English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native proficiency in Filipino/Tagalog (reading and writing required).
- 3Strong professional proficiency in English (C1) to follow guidelines and provide detailed feedback.
- 43+ years of experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language work.
- 5Deep understanding of Filipino/Tagalog grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, and style, with ability to explain errors and fixes.
- 6Comfort handling formal and informal registers, and Taglish versus pure Tagalog depending on audience.
- 7High attention to detail to spot subtle meaning shifts, awkward translations, hallucinations, or cultural mismatches.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.
