- 5Craft high-quality rewrites and model answers that demonstrate best practices in Malay writing and contribute to evaluation rubrics.
- 6Document guidance and best-practice frameworks for ongoing QA and collaborate with AI data teams to align standards.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree or higher in Linguistics, Malay/English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2Native or near-native Malay reading and writing proficiency.
- 3Strong English proficiency at C1 or higher to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
- 43+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or language-focused work.
- 5Deep understanding of Malay grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style, with ability to explain issues and fixes.
- 6Comfort with regional variations across Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and diaspora usage, including formality levels.
- 7High attention to detail spotting subtle meaning shifts, awkward translations, hallucinations, or culturally mismatched phrasing.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.
