Strategic Project Lead Health and Medicine
Overview
A Strategic Projects Lead focused on health and medicine will own end-to-end delivery for top AI Lab clients. You’ll translate clinical needs into concrete project specs, build domain-specific data pipelines, and coordinate with Operations and Health/Medicine experts to deploy quickly with high quality. This remote, full‑time role centers on healthcare workflows, data operations, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams. Expect to guide projects from framing to delivery while maintaining clear client communication and milestones. MD and hands-on experience in medicine or healthcare are required.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own projects from initial scoping through execution and delivery, ensuring milestones are met
- 2Translate client needs into actionable specifications for Health and Medicine workflows
- 3Design and refine domain-specific data pipelines for usability, accuracy, quality, and scalability
- 4Coordinate with Operations and Health/Medicine experts to enable rapid deployment
- 5Set project milestones, maintain a tight delivery cadence, and manage stakeholder updates
- 6Lead communications with clients, keeping messages clear and consistent
- 7Oversee Health/Medicine domain experts and project leads to ensure quality and delivery
- 8Provide daily progress updates including blockers and next steps
Requirements8
- 1MD or equivalent medical degree is required
- 2At least 2 years of professional experience in medicine, healthcare, clinical practice, or medical research
- 3Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with senior healthcare professionals
- 4Demonstrated ownership, urgency, and meticulous attention to detail
- 5Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward execution in a startup environment
- 6Minimum of 2 years leading complex projects, operational workflows, or healthcare initiatives
- 7Ability to translate vague customer requirements into clear plans and execute quickly
- 8Comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity setting
