Overview
As the Strategic Projects Lead, you'll serve as the primary liaison for top-tier AI lab clients, steering a team of finance domain experts to refine cutting-edge AI models. This remote role demands end-to-end project ownership, from managing complex finance data pipelines to reporting directly to executive leadership. You'll drive operational excellence and data quality in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Take full ownership of client projects, ensuring maximum satisfaction for leading AI labs.
- 2Oversee and optimize finance-specific data pipelines to boost efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- 3Lead a team of Human Data Managers and Leads who review work from finance subject-matter experts.
- 4Serve as the direct communication channel between AI labs and your team on high-impact initiatives.
- 5Collaborate with Human Data Engineers to define, monitor, and improve KPIs across finance workflows.
- 6Deliver executive-level reports and insights on project progress, data performance, and operational impact.
- 7Report directly to the CEO and Head of Human Data.
Requirements6
- 1Outstanding stakeholder management and soft skills, especially when collaborating with senior finance experts.
- 2Willingness to put in extended hours and weekends in a high-growth startup environment.
- 3Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building processes from scratch.
- 4Background in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience with financial systems and data.
- 5At least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing operational processes, large-scale data projects (particularly finance-heavy), or complex workflow optimization.
- 6Ability to identify inefficiencies rapidly and execute solutions under pressure.

Salary Insight
