What You'll Do8
- 1Spot-check Spanish items and flag quality issues against project rubrics.
- 2Provide precise written feedback to trainers and QAs via Discord messages and guide updates to item guidelines.
- 3Answer questions about Spanish wording, grammar, tone, and cultural context with clear, timely guidance.
- 4Activate inactive contributors, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues to keep workflows moving.
- 5Create and maintain Spanish project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, and onboarding materials.
- 6Lead onboarding and training calls with trainers and QAs to explain expectations, rubrics, and Spanish-specific requirements.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Spanish language guidelines as projects evolve.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA workflows for Spanish-language projects.
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native Spanish with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong English to follow guidelines and provide feedback.
- 43+ years in Spanish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language workflows.
- 5Solid grasp of Spanish grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, and cultural context.
- 6Experience with Latin American and/or European Spanish; specify variant(s) supported.
- 7Ability to evaluate Spanish content against rubrics and identify mistranslations, awkward phrasing, or inconsistent terminology.
- 8Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs preferred.
- 9Comfort with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management tools.
- 10Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
- 11Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM QA, or prompt evaluation is a strong plus.
