Overview
This remote, hourly contractor role leads Portuguese QA for AI training programs and monitors trainer performance across projects. You’ll review AI-generated content in Portuguese against project rubrics and provide precise feedback to maintain tone and terminology. Collaboration happens through Discord and shared documents to keep guidelines up to date and well documented. You’ll help create and maintain Portuguese documentation, including style guides and onboarding materials, to standardize quality across the team.
What You'll Do8
- 1Review Portuguese items for accuracy, tone, grammar, and terminology; provide written feedback to trainers and QA staff, with a focus on consistency.
- 2Escalate recurring issues and share updates with the team via Discord to keep project expectations aligned with guidelines and rubrics.
- 3Answer questions on Portuguese grammar, regional usage, and localization to ensure alignment with client guidelines and cultural context.
- 4Directly engage inactive contributors via messages, track follow-ups, and surface availability concerns to keep project momentum.
- 5Create and maintain Portuguese documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, onboarding materials, and examples to standardize workflows.
- 6Lead onboarding calls or training sessions for Portuguese contributors to align on quality expectations.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Portuguese guidelines across all projects and content streams.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose improvements to QA workflows and rubrics.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Portuguese, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or related field.
- 2Native Portuguese with strong reading and writing skills, and a solid command of English for guidelines and feedback.
- 33+ years in Portuguese writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related workflows.
- 4Strong knowledge of Portuguese grammar and Brazil localization to maintain authentic phrasing and cultural accuracy.
- 5Ability to evaluate Portuguese content against rubrics and identify mistranslations, tone issues, or inconsistent terminology.
- 6Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is highly preferred.
- 7Comfort with Discord, Google Sheets, and Google Docs, plus trackers and dashboards for project management.
- 8Detail-oriented and organized with ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, onboarding materials, and documentation.
- 9Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM evaluation, prompt evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus.
