Overview
This remote contract role focuses on guiding quality assurance for social sciences and education within AI training programs. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead quality assurance for social sciences and education content across AI training projects, ensuring alignment with client rubrics and guidelines.
- 2Review AI-generated explanations, lesson materials, and research-method content for accuracy, nuance, and educational appropriateness.
- 3Coordinate with remote trainers and QAs via Discord to share guidelines, update quality expectations, and communicate workflow changes.
- 4Respond to questions on education concepts, learning objectives, research methods, bias, and rubric interpretation in a timely manner.
- 5Manage contributor activation: reach out to idle participants, track progress, and flag availability as needed.
- 6Create and maintain project documentation such as style guides, trackers, FAQs, calibration tasks, and onboarding materials.
- 7Lead onboarding and training sessions for trainers and QAs to clarify project expectations and rubrics.
- 8Ensure consistent application of social science and education guidelines as projects evolve.
- 9Flag stereotyping, ethically problematic content, or weak causal reasoning for review.
- 10Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA improvements.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, teaching credential, or equivalent professional experience in Education, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Political Science, Social Work, Public Policy, Educational Psychology, Curriculum Studies, or related field.
- 2Strong English language skills to follow guidelines and provide clear written feedback.
- 33+ years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, social science research, educational content review, instructional design, academic writing, or related review workflows.
- 4Deep understanding of social science concepts, education theory, pedagogy, learning outcomes, assessment design, research methods, ethics, bias, culture, inequality, and evidence-based reasoning.
- 5Ability to evaluate social science/education content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as unsupported generalizations, stereotyping, weak causal claims, poor instructional design, biased framing, flawed methodology, or age-inappropriate content.
- 6Familiarity with classroom learning, assessment, lesson planning, social research, qualitative/quantitative methods, educational equity, child development, learning science, or curriculum standards is preferred.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of educators, researchers, curriculum writers, reviewers, annotators, trainers, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- 8Comfort working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized with ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, calibration tasks, and documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM evaluation, social science QA, educational QA, curriculum review, or rubric-based review is a strong plus.
