What You'll Do11
- 1Perform quality spot-checks on AI-generated elementary science content and deliver targeted feedback via direct messages on Discord.
- 2Evaluate explanations, worksheets, activities, quizzes, and student-facing content for accuracy and grade-level fit against project rubrics.
- 3Update trainers and QAs on Discord with new item guidelines, workflow changes, and quality standards.
- 4Respond promptly to questions about grade-level appropriateness, scientific concepts, safety, and rubric interpretation with clear guidance.
- 5Activate and re-engage contributors who are inactive; track follow-ups and flag availability gaps.
- 6Create and maintain elementary science project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, and onboarding materials.
- 7Lead onboarding sessions with trainers and QAs to explain expectations, rubrics, and quality-control standards.
- 8Ensure consistent application of elementary science review guidelines as projects evolve.
- 9Flag unsafe experiments or misleading science claims and identify age-inappropriate or inaccurate content.
- 10Suggest process improvements to scale QA workflows for elementary science AI training projects.
- 11Communicate in Punjabi with remote educators to support clear QA guidance.
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's, Master's, teaching credential, or equivalent professional experience in Elementary Education or a related STEM field.
- 2Strong English language skills and ability to follow project guidelines and provide clear written feedback.
- 33+ years of experience in teaching, tutoring, curriculum development, educational content review, science communication, or related education workflows.
- 4Solid understanding of elementary science across life, physical, earth, and environmental science, plus scientific inquiry, observation, and safety.
- 5Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and identify inaccuracies, age-inappropriate wording, unsafe experiments, or misleading explanations.
- 6Familiarity with grade-level expectations, child-friendly explanations, educational scaffolding, worksheets, assessments, and curriculum standards is preferred.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of educators, reviewers, curriculum writers, annotators, trainers, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- 8Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Docs, Google Sheets, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized; able to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, and calibration tasks.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM evaluation, educational QA, curriculum QA, or rubric-based review is a strong plus.
- 11Punjabi language fluency is required.
