Overview
Turing is hiring a Senior JavaScript/React Engineer to join its AI training team. You'll create and refine code datasets that train large language models, working with Python, JavaScript, React, and Node.js across the full stack. The role involves evaluating AI-generated code for efficiency and scalability, building verification agents, and collaborating with researchers to push model capabilities. This is a flexible contractor position (10-40 hours/week) for someone based in the United States.
What You'll Do6
- Curate code examples and build solutions across Python and JavaScript stacks, including React and Node.js frontends and backends.
- Review AI-generated code for efficiency, scalability, and reliability, correcting issues across the full stack.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve AI coding tools and align them with industry benchmarks.
- Develop verification agents that automatically check code quality and spot error patterns in full-stack applications.
- Analyze stages of the software engineering cycle (prototyping, architecture, API design, production, launch, monitoring) to assess model performance.
- Design automated verification methods that validate solutions to engineering tasks.
Requirements5
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack development skills with Python and JavaScript (React, Node.js).
- Track record of deploying scalable, production-grade software using modern languages and tools.
- Solid grasp of software architecture, design, debugging, and code quality review.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for clear, structured evaluation rationales.
Who Should Apply
Engineers with 3+ years of full-stack experience in Python and JavaScript (React, Node.js) who have built production systems at scale. You should be comfortable evaluating and refining AI-generated code, designing verification mechanisms, and explaining your reasoning clearly.
