Salesforce / HubSpot Administrator - Revenue Systems (Remote)
Listing checked September 15, 2026 · pay as published by Micro1
Overview
micro1 is looking for a Salesforce or HubSpot administrator to join a customer project centered on operational excellence in CRM and revenue systems. You will step into a SaaS company's revenue stack where rules contradict each other, automations still fire against retired policies, duplicate customer records exist under different legal names, and permissions don't match documentation. Your domain knowledge will directly shape how next-generation AI models learn to reason about real-world CRM scenarios. No AI experience is needed. This is a remote contractor role.
What You'll Do7
- 1Audit CRM and connected revenue systems to surface contradictions, obsolete policies, duplicate records, and operational inconsistencies.
- 2Resolve policy conflicts by determining which business rules take precedence and documenting clear, actionable reasoning.
- 3Write precise operational prompts that outline best practices for handling complex SaaS data scenarios.
- 4Reconcile underlying data across platforms to clarify the intended state and ensure consistency.
- 5Document recommended changes alongside areas deliberately left unchanged, backed by sound operational judgment.
- 6Assess how proposed changes affect connected tools such as billing, CPQ, ticketing, or integration platforms.
- 7Share insights on system design, optimization, and sustainable CRM governance in a SaaS context.
Requirements7
- 14–6 years of hands-on CRM administration or implementation with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or a comparable platform.
- 2A proven track record of real-world CRM build-outs, including implementations, migrations, consolidations, or rollouts you led independently.
- 3Extensive experience configuring fields, flows, validation rules, objects, and permission sets. Certifications are a plus, but practical build experience matters more.
- 4Working knowledge of at least two related revenue or operational systems, such as billing, subscription management, CPQ, ticketing, project tracking, or integration middleware.
- 5Comfort working in the data layer: SQL, APIs, system data models, and cross-system data reconciliation.
- 6Background in SaaS environments, with a preference for regulated industries or multi-product complexity.
- 7Excellent professional English communication skills, both written and verbal, especially for documenting technical reasoning and operational policy decisions.
Who Should Apply
This role suits a CRM administrator with 4–6 years of hands-on build experience who enjoys untangling messy data and conflicting business rules. You should be comfortable working across Salesforce or HubSpot plus at least two other revenue tools, and you should be able to explain your reasoning in clear written English. The role is less suitable for someone who only manages user accounts or runs reports without configuring objects, flows, and permission sets. Candidates often get rejected when they list certifications but cannot describe a migration or consolidation they led themselves. Another common low-fit signal is avoiding the data layer. If you have not worked with SQL, APIs, or cross-system reconciliation, this project will be a struggle.
