CRM Operations Specialist (Remote)
Listing checked September 10, 2026 · pay as published by Micro1
Overview
micro1 seeks CRM Operations Specialists to support a customer project that improves sales and customer relationship management processes. Your domain knowledge will help train next-generation AI systems by evaluating model outputs on CRM workflows, sales processes, and automation logic. This is a remote contractor role. You must have prior paid experience with human data work for AI, such as annotation, RLHF, or model evaluation. Using AI tools like ChatGPT in your daily work does not meet that requirement.
What You'll Do6
- 1Assess AI-generated responses for accuracy and alignment with real-world CRM and sales practices.
- 2Review and annotate CRM records, data, and user interactions to support AI training goals.
- 3Apply written rubrics to rate or rank model outputs, and escalate cases that fall outside current guidelines.
- 4Provide representative examples and scenarios based on CRM operations and sales enablement best practices.
- 5Document existing sales operations workflows, highlighting pain points and improvement opportunities.
- 6Deliver clear written feedback to project stakeholders and model development teams.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of hands-on experience in CRM and sales operations, with at least 2 years working directly in CRM platforms.
- 2Proven expertise with Salesforce or HubSpot. Depth in one is sufficient, and comparable CRM experience is acceptable.
- 3Familiarity with additional platforms such as Close, Apollo, Salesloft, Intercom, Freshdesk, Shopify, Crayon, or ClickFunnels is highly valued.
- 4Demonstrated ability to improve sales processes, implement automations, and maintain CRM data integrity.
- 5Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in complex business workflows, including process mapping.
- 6Prior paid human data work supporting AI, such as annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading. This is a firm project requirement.
- 7Experience as a software or QA engineer working on CRM integrations, automation, data migrations, or testing CRM logic is a plus but not essential.
- 8Strong written and verbal English at B2 level or above.
- 9Reliable internet connection and availability to begin promptly.
Who Should Apply
The ideal candidate has at least three years in CRM and sales operations, with two of those years spent directly in Salesforce or HubSpot. They also bring paid experience in human data work for AI, such as annotation, RLHF, or rubric-based grading. This role is less suitable for someone who has only used AI tools like ChatGPT at work but lacks formal data labeling or model evaluation experience. Candidates often get rejected when they cannot show specific CRM automation projects or when their AI data work is unpaid or informal. If you have a track record of optimizing sales processes and maintaining data integrity, this could be a strong fit.
