Overview

micro1 is building a team of Sales, Revenue, and CS Operations Experts to support an AI training project for a customer. The work is remote, open to candidates in the U.S. or Canada, and pays $40–85 per hour. You will not need any AI background. Instead, you will apply your hands-on experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot and at least two connected tools such as quoting, billing, ticketing, or project tracking. The project is already active, and onboarding is happening now.

What You'll Do5

  • Evaluate realistic operations scenarios, including CRM configuration choices, workflow design, and integration tradeoffs, and explain the reasoning behind each decision.
  • Resolve conflicts between operational policies by determining which rule takes precedence, justifying the choice, and identifying what should remain unchanged.
  • Diagnose data accuracy issues across connected systems, such as duplicates, mismatched numbers, and inconsistent definitions, and describe how to trace the root cause.
  • Explain the factors that drive adoption or workarounds of workflows by sales and customer success teams.
  • Flag ambiguous or underspecified scenarios rather than resolving them without clarification.

Requirements5

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in sales, revenue, or customer success operations within SaaS.
  • Direct responsibility for configuring and maintaining a CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), not just requesting changes from another team.
  • Practical experience with at least two connected tools outside the CRM, such as quoting, billing, ticketing, or project tracking.
  • Strong operational judgment, especially in resolving policy conflicts without adding unnecessary complexity.
  • Ability to explain your reasoning clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Who Should Apply

The ideal candidate has at least four years of hands-on SaaS operations experience, has personally configured a CRM and at least two connected tools, and can walk through policy conflicts and data issues with clear reasoning. You should be comfortable explaining your decisions to mixed audiences and flagging unclear scenarios.
