Overview
micro1 is hiring Revenue Operations Specialists to support a customer's AI training initiative. You'll work through realistic SaaS revenue operations scenarios, such as CRM data models, process design, and configuration tradeoffs, and explain your reasoning. This is a remote contractor role open to candidates in the U.S. or Canada, with pay between $50 and $100 per hour. No prior AI experience is needed; your hands-on ops expertise is what counts.
What You'll Do6
- Analyze realistic revenue operations scenarios involving CRM data models, process design, and configuration tradeoffs, and articulate the rationale for each decision.
- Resolve conflicts between operational policies by determining which rule takes precedence, justifying the choice, and specifying what should remain unchanged.
- Design workflows that satisfy compliance requirements such as approvals, access controls, and audit trails.
- Diagnose revenue data issues like duplicates, broken lifecycle states, and inconsistent metric definitions, then outline root-cause analysis and prevention steps.
- Identify and flag ambiguous or underspecified scenarios rather than resolving them without clarification.
- Explain your reasoning clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements6
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in SaaS revenue, sales, customer success, or implementation operations. Management-only or adjacent exposure does not qualify.
- Direct ownership of a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) including configuration experience, plus at least two connected tools such as billing, CPQ, ticketing, or project tracking.
- Proven ability to resolve policy conflicts and explain tradeoffs, ideally in fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or complex multi-product environments.
- Strong communication skills to convey reasoning to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with revenue data integrity and reporting, including identifying and fixing data quality issues.
- Familiarity with compliance-constrained operations design, including approvals and access controls.
Who Should Apply
The ideal candidate has at least four years of hands-on SaaS revenue operations experience, has owned a CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot, and has worked with two or more connected tools such as billing, CPQ, or ticketing. You should be comfortable resolving policy conflicts and explaining your reasoning to diverse audiences. If you have worked in fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or complex multi-product settings, that's a plus.
