You will apply translation QA and editorial QA approaches to rate AI outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, and tone, linking feedback to the original prompts. You will write precise Russian rewrites and model answers that reflect proper tone, register, and cultural nuance. What You'll Do7
- 1Develop prompts and gold-standard Russian answers across general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing.
- 2Evaluate AI outputs for fluency, correctness, tone, and cultural fit; assign quality ratings.
- 3Detect unsafe or misleading content, factual hallucinations, bias, and policy-risk language; validate reliability across use cases.
- 4Provide precise written feedback and high-quality rewrites or model answers illustrating best practices in Russian.
- 5Rate and compare multiple AI responses; document the rationale for rankings.
- 6Ensure alignment with prompts and appropriate formality for product UI localization and multilingual contexts.
- 7Collaborate with data science and QA teams to refine evaluation rubrics and data pipelines.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Russian or English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2Native or near-native Russian proficiency in reading and writing.
- 3Strong professional English skills at C1 level to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
- 4Minimum 3 years of experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused roles.
- 5Deep knowledge of Russian grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style; able to explain corrections clearly.
- 6Comfort with multiple registers and terminology for product or UI localization.
- 7Excellent attention to detail to identify subtle meaning shifts, calques, or culturally mismatched phrasing.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality as an hourly remote contractor across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training, annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.
