Seeking a seasoned AI training specialist to steer quality across remote projects involving Romanian content. In this hourly contract, you’ll review AI-generated Romanian language materials and evaluate trainer and QA outputs against project rubrics. You’ll provide precise, written feedback to contributors and enforce quality assurance standards, focusing on grammar, diacritics, tone, and cultural context. You’ll maintain and improve project documentation and onboarding materials while coordinating with dispersed teams to uphold consistent quality.
What You'll Do8
- 1Oversee quality across Romanian AI training tasks and perform spot checks against project rubrics.
- 2Provide clear, written feedback to trainers and QAs via Discord to address quality gaps.
- 3Update trainers and QAs about new item guidelines, workflow changes, and quality expectations on Discord.
- 4Answer questions about Romanian wording, grammar, diacritics, and regional usage to maintain consistent style.
- 5Activate inactive contributors, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues to keep workflow moving.
- 6Create and maintain Romanian project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, quality notes, examples, and onboarding materials.
- 7Lead onboarding and training sessions for trainers and QAs to explain rubrics, quality standards, and Romanian-specific style requirements.
- 8Align quality practices across teams as projects evolve and propose scalable QA improvements.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Romanian, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native Romanian with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong English proficiency to follow project guidelines and provide feedback.
- 43+ years in Romanian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
- 5Deep understanding of Romanian grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, tone, register, regional usage, and cultural context.
- 6Experience handling Romania vs Moldova Romanian usage differences within style guidelines.
- 7Ability to evaluate content against rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, unnatural phrasing, or inconsistent terminology.
- 8Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, or QAs preferred.
- 9Comfort working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 10Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation practices including style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials.
