Remote contract role for a paralegal SME to review AI generated legal support and craft expert paralegal content. You'll assess reasoning quality and provide precise feedback on model outputs. Expect to evaluate accuracy, clarity, completeness, and adherence to prompts while identifying terminology, citation, and document-structure issues. This position supports SME Careers in improving legal reasoning for AI training data across time zones.

- 2Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, formatting, and practical usefulness across legal tasks.
- 3Test outputs for confidentiality risks, bias, and citation integrity; ensure reliability across litigation and transactional workflows.
- 4Provide precise written feedback with concrete edits and explanations to guide model improvements.
- 5Collaborate with data science and legal ops teams to align training materials with client workflows.

- 2Four+ years as a paralegal or legal assistant in law firms, in-house teams, or public sector.
- 3Strong command of legal support workflows: intake, fact gathering, drafting, version control, and matter organization.
- 4Proven experience with legal research and summarizing authorities clearly and accurately.
- 5Familiarity with litigation steps (pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, motion practice) and/or transactional workflows (contracts, corporate filings).
- 6Meticulous attention to detail; high proficiency in English (C1).
- 7Comfort handling confidential information and sensitive data.
- 8Reliable, self-directed contractor capable of delivering consistent quality in hourly remote work across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, document QA, legal ops, or editorial review strongly preferred.
Who Should Apply
Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience and have supported AI training initiatives or QA in legal contexts. They excel at turning complex legal content into clear training materials and can maintain confidentiality while working remotely. Strong English proficiency and a meticulous eye for formatting and citation details are essential. This remote, hourly contractor role suits those who want flexible schedules and clearly defined deliverables across time zones; it may not be a fit for those lacking AI data experience or seeking on-site, full-time roles.
