- 1Review AI-generated Nepali content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural appropriateness; document issues and suggested rewrites.
- 2Create high-quality Nepali reference content and model answers to guide future training tasks.
- 3Identify errors in meaning, mistranslation, or awkward phrasing; provide concrete, explainable fixes with examples.
- 4Rate and compare multiple AI outputs based on correctness and overall quality; record results in project rubrics.
- 5Explain Nepali language rules and provide practical guidelines for consistent style across formal and informal registers.
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompts and evaluations align with prompt guidelines and cultural sensitivity.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
- 2Native or near-native Nepali proficiency (reading and writing).
- 3Strong professional proficiency in English (minimum C1) to follow guidelines and provide detailed feedback in English.
- 43+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work.
- 5Deep understanding of Nepali grammar, Devanagari script, spelling conventions, punctuation, honorifics, and style—able to explain why something is wrong and how to fix it.
- 6Comfort handling multiple registers (formal/informal), regional and dialect variation, and audience adaptation (Nepal vs Nepali-speaking diaspora).
- 7High attention to detail when spotting subtle meaning shifts, hallucinated claims, incorrect honorific usage, unnatural translations, or culturally awkward phrasing.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in an hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.
