Overview
This remote, hourly contractor role leads Marathi quality assurance across AI training projects and oversees trainer performance. You will review AI-generated Marathi content, compare outputs to project rubrics, and deliver precise written feedback to improve accuracy and cultural alignment. Maintain and update project documentation such as style guides and onboarding materials while coordinating with remote trainers and QA specialists. Collaborate with the team via Discord and other tools to ensure consistent application of language guidelines as projects evolve.
What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct regular quality checks on Marathi AI training items and provide targeted feedback to improve translations, tone, and cultural accuracy.
- 2Communicate guideline updates, new project rules, and quality expectations to trainers and QAs on Discord.
- 3Answer trainer and QA questions about Marathi phrasing, register, translation fidelity, and regional language use as soon as possible.
- 4Proactively reach out to inactive contributors, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues to keep workflows on track.
- 5Create and maintain Marathi style guides, quality trackers, FAQs, onboarding docs, and example materials to support consistent output.
- 6Lead onboarding and training sessions with trainers and QAs detailing rubrics, quality standards, and Marathi-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure all trainer and QA outputs align with evolving Marathi language guidelines and project rubrics.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA processes for Marathi-language projects.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marathi, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native Marathi proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Excellent English communication to follow project guidelines and provide clear feedback.
- 43+ years of professional experience in Marathi writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-workflows.
- 5Strong grasp of Marathi grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, tone, register, regional variation, and cultural context.
- 6Ability to evaluate Marathi content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, unnatural tone, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- 8Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, honeypots, and quality documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt/response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus.
