Gujarati QA Lead for AI Training in Remote Contract
Overview
Remote contract role guiding Gujarati QA across AI training projects, ensuring output quality and trainer performance. You’ll review AI-generated Gujarati content and coach trainers and QAs, delivering precise written feedback against project rubrics. You’ll identify mistranslations, tone and cultural inaccuracies, escalating persistent issues for remediation. You’ll also maintain documentation and support onboarding while coordinating with remote teams on Google Docs.
What You'll Do8
- 1Spot-check Gujarati items, identify quality issues, and provide ongoing feedback via direct messages; escalate critical cases.
- 2Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new item guidelines, project changes, workflow updates, and quality expectations.
- 3Respond to trainer and QA questions about Gujarati wording, register, translation fidelity, and cultural context with clear guidance.
- 4DM inactive contributors to re-engage them, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues when needed.
- 5Create and maintain Gujarati project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials with a standard Google Docs format.
- 6Schedule onboarding calls with trainers and QAs to explain expectations, rubrics, and Gujarati-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure trainers and QAs apply Gujarati language guidelines consistently as projects evolve.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA processes for Gujarati-language projects.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Gujarati, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 2Native or near-native proficiency in Gujarati with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong grasp of the English language to follow project guidelines and communicate with teams, plus experience in ai training or related language workflows.
- 43+ years of professional experience in Gujarati writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
- 5Strong understanding of Gujarati grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, tone, register, and cultural context.
- 6Ability to evaluate Gujarati content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- 8Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using tools such as Discord, Google Sheets, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, honeypots, and other quality documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt/response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus.
