Overview
This role involves applying legal expertise to train next-generation AI systems. The Legal Expert will review, analyze, and redline commercial contracts, advise on employment law, structured finance, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions, and evaluate SaaS MSAs and data privacy policies. The work directly contributes to improving how AI models understand and reason with legal documents and scenarios. No prior AI experience is required—only domain knowledge.
What You'll Do7
- 1Review, analyze, and redline commercial contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and business objectives.
- 2Provide expert input on employment law, structured finance, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions.
- 3Evaluate and advise on SaaS Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to identify risk and recommend improvements.
- 4Interpret complex regulatory requirements and shape guidelines for compliance.
- 5Assess data privacy policies and practices in accordance with international standards.
- 6Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to clarify legal concepts and deliver actionable written feedback.
- 7Contribute high-quality insights to enhance AI model effectiveness in legal document understanding.
Requirements6
- 1Active Bar membership in good standing.
- 2Minimum 3 years of experience practicing law with a track record in commercial contracts, employment law, and structured finance.
- 3Deep knowledge of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
- 4Proficiency in contract redlining and negotiation with attention to detail.
- 5Hands-on experience reviewing and advising on SaaS MSAs and data privacy matters.
- 6Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to distill complex legal concepts for diverse audiences.
