Overview
This hourly remote contract places you at the forefront of JavaScript quality for AI training projects. You review AI-generated JavaScript code and trainer/QA outputs, measuring results against detailed rubrics and guidelines. Deliver precise written feedback and maintain clear documentation of quality standards for remote teams. You drive consistency through structured code review and LLM evaluation across the program.
What You'll Do10
- 1Spot-check JavaScript items, identify quality issues, and provide direct feedback via Discord DMs.
- 2Review AI-generated JavaScript code, debugging responses, explanations, tests, and edge cases for correctness and clarity.
- 3Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new guidelines, project changes, workflow updates, and JavaScript-specific review standards.
- 4Respond to trainer/QA questions about JavaScript behavior, async logic, frameworks, and rubric interpretation with clear guidance.
- 5DM inactive contributors to re-engage them and track follow-ups.
- 6Create and maintain JavaScript project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials.
- 7Schedule and lead onboarding sessions with trainers and QAs to explain expectations and JavaScript review requirements.
- 8Ensure consistent application of JavaScript guidelines as projects evolve.
- 9Flag unsafe or low-quality recommendations, focusing on injection risks, authentication, and production readiness.
- 10Identify recurring gaps and propose scalable QA processes for JavaScript AI training projects.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a closely related field; equivalent professional software engineering experience may be considered.
- 2Strong English proficiency to follow project guidelines, communicate with teams, and provide technical feedback in English.
- 33+ years of professional JavaScript development across frontend engineering, Node.js backend, full-stack work, code review, or software QA.
- 4Solid understanding of core JavaScript concepts such as closures, scope, hoisting, prototypes, promises, async/await, event loop, modules, DOM manipulation, error handling, data structures, and modern ECMAScript features.
- 5Ability to evaluate JavaScript content against rubrics and identify issues like logic flaws, non-executable code, edge cases, performance problems, or security risks.
- 6Familiarity with common JavaScript ecosystems and tools such as Node.js, npm/yarn/pnpm, React, Vue, Express, Jest, Mocha, Playwright, ESLint, Prettier, Vite, Webpack, Babel, and browser dev tools.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, engineers, or QAs.
- 8Comfortable working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, GitHub, and project management systems.
- 9High attention to detail and organization; able to maintain style guides, trackers, onboarding materials, calibration tasks, and quality documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt/response evaluation, code content QA, or rubric-based LLM evaluation is a strong plus.
