Overview
Remote, hourly contractor role guiding quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Italian AI training projects. You will review AI-generated Italian content and trainer outputs, assessing alignment with project guidelines and LLM evaluation rubrics. Provide precise written feedback and ensure contributors follow established Italian language guidelines. What You'll Do8
- 1Spot-check Italian content for accuracy, tone, and cultural context; flag issues and deliver written feedback via DMs.
- 2Share guidelines and project updates with trainers and QAs on Discord; keep teams aligned on workflow and quality expectations.
- 3Answer questions about Italian grammar, punctuation, register, and terminology to support accurate translations.
- 4DM inactive contributors to re-engage them, track follow-ups, and flag availability gaps.
- 5Create and maintain Italian documentation, such as style guides, trackers, FAQs, onboarding materials, and examples.
- 6Lead onboarding and training sessions for Italian contributors.
- 7Apply Italian language guidelines consistently across tasks and reviews.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose improvements to QA workflows.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Italian, linguistics, translation, communications, English, education, QA, or a related field.
- 2Native or near-native Italian proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong English proficiency to follow project guidelines and communicate with teams.
- 43+ years of professional experience in Italian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related workflows.
- 5Solid knowledge of Italian grammar, spelling, punctuation, accents, gender/number agreement, verb moods, tone, and cultural context.
- 6Ability to evaluate Italian content against rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, unnatural phrasing, incorrect subjunctive usage, or ambiguous terminology.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- 8Comfortable with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized; able to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, and documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM evaluation, prompt/response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus.
