Indonesian Quality Assurance Lead for AI Training Data

What You'll Do8

• Quality monitor Indonesian items and AI-generated outputs, logging issues and guiding corrective action.
• Coordinate with trainers and QA reviewers via Discord to communicate new guidelines, project changes, and quality expectations.
• Answer questions about Indonesian wording, tone, terminology, and cultural context with precise written responses.
• Activate or re-engage contributors who are inactive, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues when needed.
• Create and maintain Indonesian project documentation, including style guides, FAQs, trackers, and onboarding materials.
• Lead onboarding calls with trainers and QAs to explain rubrics, quality standards, and Indonesian-specific style requirements.
• Align trainers and QAs with Indonesian language guidelines as projects adapt over time.
• Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable improvements to QA workflows for Indonesian-language content.

Requirements11

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Indonesian, Bahasa Indonesia, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near-native Indonesian with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong English proficiency to follow guidelines and provide feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Indonesian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, tone, register, and cultural context.
• Ability to handle standard and regional Indonesian, plus English loanwords/code-switching, keeping project style.
• Capacity to evaluate Indonesian content against detailed rubrics and flag mistranslation, unnatural tone, or inconsistent terminology.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is preferred.
• Comfort with remote work tools such as Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and PM systems.
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to maintain style guides, trackers, onboarding materials, and quality documentation.
• Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM QA, or rubric-based evaluation is a strong plus.
