Overview
micro1 is hiring Indonesian Bilingual Experts to support a customer's large-scale linguistic initiative. You will evaluate AI-generated Indonesian speech for nativeness and fluency, providing detailed feedback that helps train next-generation AI systems. This is a remote contractor role where your native-level Indonesian and English B2+ skills are key. No prior AI experience is needed; your domain knowledge is what matters.
What You'll Do7
- Listen to audio clips and judge how natural and fluent the AI-generated Indonesian speech sounds.
- Give written and verbal feedback on pronunciation, intonation, accuracy, and authenticity.
- Check whether language use in audio samples fits cultural and contextual norms.
- Document your observations with clarity so they can guide model improvements.
- Work with project coordinators to discuss findings and clarify guidelines.
- Deliver high-quality assessments on schedule.
- Suggest improvements to evaluation frameworks based on your linguistic expertise.
Requirements7
- Native-level proficiency in Indonesian, including familiarity with regional dialects and cultural nuances.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong written and verbal communication in both languages.
- Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to language evaluation.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to give clear, constructive feedback on language and communication style.
- Interest in contributing to AI-driven language technologies.
- Previous experience in translation, localization, linguistics, content moderation, or language quality assessment is a plus, but not required.
