HTML CSS Team Lead for Remote Frontend QA Contract
Overview
As an HTML and CSS Team Lead, you oversee quality and consistency for AI training projects guided by remote contributors. Review AI-generated HTML and CSS snippets against detailed rubrics, delivering precise feedback on semantics, accessibility, and responsive layouts. Lead conversations on ARIA basics, CSS specificity, and cross‑browser compatibility while guiding trainers through updated guidelines on Discord and shared docs. This remote, hourly contract with SME Careers focuses on frontend quality leadership for training data that must be accessible, well-structured, and aligned with client expectations.

- 2Review code snippets, layout implementations, accessibility fixes, and responsive design solutions produced by contributors.
- 3Provide clear written guidance to trainers and QA specialists via DMs and project channels.
- 4Answer questions related to semantic HTML, ARIA basics, CSS specificity, and layout behavior.
- 5Activate inactive contributors, track follow-ups, and monitor availability to keep pipelines moving.
- 6Create and maintain HTML/CSS style guides, FAQs, onboarding materials, calibration tasks, and example tasks.
- 7Lead onboarding sessions for HTML/CSS contributors and support remote training efforts.
- 8Flag risky, inaccessible, or non-production-ready frontend recommendations and escalate appropriately.
- 9Analyze recurring quality gaps and help design scalable QA processes.

Who Should Apply
Ideal candidates bring hands-on frontend markup experience and a track record coaching remote QA or training teams. They understand semantic HTML, ARIA, and responsive CSS, and can translate standards into actionable feedback for HTML/CSS output. This role is less suitable for applicants lacking remote collaboration experience or with limited accessibility background. Those who struggle to document processes, maintain style guides, or follow detailed rubrics may score lower during selection.
