- 5Directly reach out to inactive contributors, encourage activation, and track follow-ups.
- 6Create and maintain project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, and onboarding materials.
- 7Lead onboarding and training calls to explain project expectations and the review rubric.
- 8Ensure consistent application of engineering standards as project requirements evolve.
- 9Flag unsafe or misleading engineering recommendations, particularly around high voltage, power systems, or safety hazards.
- 10Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA workflow improvements.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Power Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- 2Strong English proficiency to follow guidelines, communicate with teams, and provide clear technical feedback.
- 33+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, electronics, power systems, embedded systems, signal processing, circuit design, controls, telecommunications, or related workflows.
- 4Solid grounding in circuit analysis, analog/digital electronics, electromagnetics, signals and systems, power systems, control systems, semiconductor devices, communication systems, instrumentation, and electrical safety.
- 5Ability to evaluate engineering content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as incorrect assumptions, flawed calculations, missing units, unsafe recommendations, invalid circuit logic, or incomplete explanations.
- 6Familiarity with common EE tools or workflows such as SPICE/LTspice, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, Verilog/VHDL, PCB design tools, oscilloscopes, circuit simulation, embedded workflows, or power-system analysis tools.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, engineers, or QAs.
- 8Comfort working in fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, calibration tasks, and other quality documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt/response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM evaluation is a strong plus.
Who Should Apply
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in electrical engineering QA roles and a deep grasp of circuit analysis, analog and digital electronics, electromagnetics, and power systems. They excel at evaluating engineering content against rubrics and delivering precise, actionable feedback in English. They have experience guiding remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, or QAs and can coordinate via Discord and cloud tools. This role may be less suitable for candidates lacking strong English communication, who prefer in-person collaboration, or who have limited experience with AI training or rubric-based evaluation.
