Overview
Mercor is seeking senior HR professionals to help train AI systems by designing realistic evaluation tasks for talent management, employee relations, and organizational design. In this freelance role, you'll create scenarios, reference outputs, and scoring rubrics that reflect how experienced HR leaders actually handle complex workforce challenges. Experts with U.S. employment law or international labor law expertise are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do5
- 1Develop HR scenarios across recruiting, workforce planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
- 2Build evaluation tasks that align with U.S. legal standards (Title VII, FLSA, ADA, state laws) or international standards (UK Employment Rights Act, EU labor directives).
- 3Incorporate common enterprise tools like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, applicant tracking systems, and compensation benchmarking platforms such as Radford or Mercer into realistic situations.
- 4Draft reference materials including HR policies, investigation reports, compensation analyses, and organizational design proposals.
- 5Write rubrics that distinguish expert-level HR judgment from typical textbook or certification exam answers.
Requirements4
- 1At least five years in a senior HR leadership role, such as VP of HR, CHRO, or a senior consultant at a major firm.
- 2Direct ownership of talent programs, employee relations cases, or compensation design initiatives.
- 3Fluency with HR software, methodologies, and real-world employment law compliance practices.
- 4A professional HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or international equivalent) is strongly preferred; experience creating rubrics or training material is a plus.
