Overview

The role focuses on building frontier AI partnerships by working with research labs and enterprise teams that develop advanced models. You’ll engage with stakeholders across research, engineering, and procurement to shape high-value collaborations around model evaluation and human data pipelines. Expect to explore evaluation workflows, RLHF pipelines, and model improvement loops while driving long-term partnerships.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Source and close collaborations with AI labs and ML-led organizations pursuing frontier models
  • 2Lead technical discovery sessions around evaluation workflows, RLHF pipelines, and model improvement loops
  • 3Engage research leads, ML engineers, and data teams to capture system-level constraints and requirements
  • 4Translate exploratory research and engineering needs into clearly scoped human data and evaluation programs
  • 5Structure and negotiate high-value agreements covering data generation, annotation, and scalable evaluation
  • 6Collaborate cross-functionally with product, research, and operations to ensure delivery meets technical expectations
  • 7Expand partnerships by integrating deeper into evaluation pipelines and RL environments
  • 8Provide transparent signals on pipeline quality, deal risk, and market dynamics
  • 9Share customer insights with teams shaping evaluation frameworks, product direction, and go-to-market plans

Requirements6

  • 1Experience selling into AI/ML, developer tools, or deeply technical products
  • 2Proven track record closing complex multi-stakeholder deals with both technical and commercial depth
  • 3Ability to communicate effectively with ML engineers and research teams, even if not a practitioner
  • 4Familiarity with model evaluation, RLHF, or reinforcement learning environments
  • 5Structured, hypothesis-driven approach to sales and problem solving
  • 6Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with high autonomy

Who Should Apply

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience engaging with ML researchers and engineers, and a history of closing strategic, technical partnerships in AI. This role suits someone who can translate research needs into concrete data and evaluation programs and negotiate high-value data collaboration agreements. It may be less suitable for those without prior experience in enterprise AI partnerships or who struggle with multi-stakeholder environments. Common fit concerns include limited exposure to RLHF or evaluation pipelines and a lack of experience navigating enterprise procurement for large technical deals.
