What You'll Do8
- 1Perform regular Tamil QA spot-checks on AI training items, flag quality issues, and deliver targeted feedback to trainers via DM on Discord.
- 2Keep trainers and QAs informed about new item guidelines and workflow changes through Discord updates and Google Sheets trackers.
- 3Respond to questions on Tamil wording, tone, cultural context, and edge cases with clear, rubric-based guidance.
- 4Manage activation of contributors by DMing inactive teammates, tracking follow-ups in Google Sheets, and surfacing availability issues.
- 5Create and maintain Tamil project documentation in Google Docs, including style guides, FAQs, quality notes, and onboarding materials.
- 6Lead onboarding and training sessions for trainers and QAs to explain expectations, rubrics, and Tamil-specific style requirements.
- 7Ensure consistent application of Tamil language guidelines across evolving projects.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA workflows for Tamil-language projects.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics.
- 2Tamil proficiency native or near-native with strong reading and writing.
- 3Strong grasp of English to follow project guidelines and provide feedback.
- 43+ years of professional experience in Tamil writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
- 5Solid understanding of Tamil grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, tone, register, regional variation, and cultural context.
- 6Ability to evaluate Tamil content against detailed rubrics and identify issues such as mistranslation, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- 8Comfortable with fast-moving remote environments using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding materials, honeypots, and other quality documentation.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus.
