VerifiedSenior Full-Stack Software Engineer
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced full-stack developer to apply their coding skills in a new way: helping to train the next generation of AI systems. Your expertise in building robust web applications with React and Node.js will directly influence how AI models learn and reason. No prior AI background is required — your practical engineering knowledge is exactly what’s needed.

VerifiedSenior Software Engineer
Building reinforcement learning environments sits at the center of this remote contractor role. You'll create reproducible workflows that mirror real DevOps and CI/CD debugging scenarios, using command-line tools like git, docker, gdb, and ffmpeg. Each environment you produce comes with a golden reference solution that marks what a correct result looks like. Your command of C++ or Python (or Java, GoLang, TypeScript, Rust) matters more than hands-on AI experience, though the output here shapes how AI models learn and reason. Expect to work about 15 hours a week with output-based pay.

VerifiedSenior Software Engineer
micro1 is choosing senior engineers to build Reinforcement Learning Environments for a customer project that trains next-generation AI models. As a remote contractor working about 15 hours a week, you will assemble reproducible coding scenarios and a matching golden reference solution. The tasks test whether an AI can fix defects, add features, refactor old code, and clear performance bottlenecks in realistic codebases. Practical mastery of Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript matters more than prior AI experience.
