Senior Manager - Finance and Accounts
Overview
Simulanis is seeking a senior finance leader to take complete ownership of the company’s financial function. In this high-ownership role, you'll build scalable processes from scratch, manage day-to-day operations, and act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO. You'll also drive the company toward public readiness, including IPO preparation and compliance with SEBI standards.
What You'll Do8
- 1Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closures.
- 2Prepare accurate financial statements in full compliance with Ind AS and statutory requirements.
- 3Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls to ensure audit readiness at all times.
- 4Design and continuously refine finance and accounting processes, SOPs for invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and closures.
- 5Lead statutory and tax compliance including GST, TDS, income tax, audits, and regulatory filings.
- 6Manage public company readiness efforts, including SEBI/listing compliance and end-to-end IPO preparation and execution.
- 7Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and monthly MIS reports with variance analysis for the leadership team.
- 8Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable/payable cycles, and working capital to optimize payment cycles and collections discipline.
Requirements7
- 1Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 2Deep expertise in Ind AS, financial reporting, audit cycles, corporate governance, and taxation.
- 3Proven experience in finance, accounting, and compliance roles within startups, tech companies, or fast-growing organizations.
- 4Demonstrated ability to handle public company compliance and lead IPO preparation — experience with listed companies or fundraising is a strong plus.
- 5Hands-on track record of setting up finance processes and systems from scratch.
- 6Sharp problem-solving skills and strong business acumen.
- 7High integrity, transparency, and an ownership mindset; collaborative working style suitable for a dynamic environment.
