We are looking for a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of our general ledger and month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting across the organization. What You'll Do5
- 1Lead the complete month-end close cycle, including preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- 2Keep the general ledger in top shape by reconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring all entries are documented and substantiated.
- 3Prepare accurate financial statements — monthly, quarterly, and annually — in compliance with GAAP.
- 4Support external audits by pulling together schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- 5Continuously improve the close process to reduce cycle time and boost accuracy, partnering with leadership to keep data audit-ready and decision-ready at all times.
Requirements6
- 1A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CA certification is strongly preferred.
- 23-5 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a clear focus on general ledger and month-end close.
- 3Proven proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.) and advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel.
- 4Deep understanding of GAAP, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- 5Excellent attention to detail, ability to meet tight close deadlines without sacrificing accuracy, and strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- 6Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced startup environment.

Salary Insight
Base salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, plus eligibility for equity compensation and performance-based bonuses.
