This role is an accounting leadership position within a UK-focused outsourcing firm, handling end-to-end financial processes for clients in the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for preparing and finalizing year-end accounts, managing tax computations, and acting as the main point of contact for client portfolios. What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare and finalize year-end accounts for UK and Ireland-based clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- 2Handle all facets of UK accounting work, including bank reconciliations, profit and loss statements, ledger reviews, and account finalization under UK GAAP.
- 3Compile and verify tax computations and CT600 forms, maintaining strict adherence to UK tax laws.
- 4Perform bookkeeping and VAT return preparation for assigned clients, managing multiple accounts efficiently.
- 5Assist with basic personal tax returns, primarily for company directors, and keep up with statutory deadlines.
- 6Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as their primary contact for accounting and compliance queries.
- 7Communicate directly with clients via email and phone to resolve accounting, tax, and bookkeeping issues.
- 8Ensure all records are updated accurately and submitted within client and internal deadlines.
Requirements5
- 1A CA Inter qualification or a commerce graduate degree (B.Com, BAF, BBA, BMS) with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in accounts preparation and finalization; prior KPO experience is mandatory.
- 2Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and team members.
- 3Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software like TaxCalc, QuickBooks, Xero, or Dext.
- 4Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a self-starter mindset.
- 5Candidates currently pursuing CA Inter or CA Final are not preferred; we seek qualified or experienced professionals.
